Smite is a specialized melee enchantment for swords, axes, and maces that deals devastating extra damage specifically against undead mobs. This powerful enchantment can be obtained through enchanting tables, villager trading, fishing, and loot chests across various Minecraft structures.
Smite comes in five levels, adding 2.5 extra damage per level against undead enemies including zombies, skeletons, withers, phantoms, drowned, and zombie variants. At maximum Smite V, weapons deal an additional 12.5 damage to undead mobs, making it incredibly effective for undead-heavy areas.
The enchantment works on bogged, husks, strays, wither skeletons, zoglins, zombie horses, zombie villagers, and zombified piglins. Smite is mutually exclusive with Sharpness and Bane of Arthropods, making it ideal for players focusing on undead farming, Nether exploration, or tackling challenging bosses like the Wither.
